Traffio allows you to export almost any of your data directly from the user interface as a CSV (Comma Separated Value) file.

Below are some example of how to export client data from Traffio but the same principles apply to exporting other data too. You can export the data you are looking at in the user interface wherever you see the 'Export' button in the top-right of the screen.

Example 1: Exporting Clients - Full Export

This example shows you the simplest way of exporting data from Traffio using a 'Full Export'.

Step 1: Navigate to the 'Clients' screen in Traffio and adjust the filter bar to show the clients you want to export.

Note: Only the values set in the filter bar determine which clients are exported. Any text entered into the 'Search clients' field will be ignored.

Step 2: Click the 'Export' button in the top-right of the screen and an 'export panel' will slide out. This is where you can customise how you are going to export your data.

Note: If an 'export panel' does not slide out and you are prompted to save a export file immediately, you cannot customise the export of this data type.

Click the 'Full Export' button. This will provide you with an export file that includes all available data fields with a predefined name and order.

Example 2: Exporting Clients - Custom Export

This example shows you how to customise the data you export out of Traffio.

Step 1: Navigate the export panel as per steps 1 and 2 of example 1.

Step 2: Click on the 'New' button in the top-right of the screen to create a new 'Export Template'.

Step 3: Give your Export Template a name and configure the fields you want in your export by dragging them from the 'Available Fields' area to the 'Export Fields' area. You can reorder the fields in the 'Export Fields' area by dragging each field. You can also rename any fields by clicking on the title of the field and changing the text.

Step 4: Save your Export Template by clicking the 'Create' (or 'Save' if you are editing an existing template) in the top-right of the screen.

Step 5: Click on the 'Export' button next to your Export Template in the list. You will be prompted to save the export CSV file (or your computer will automatically save it to your default downloads location on your computer).
