Setting Up Connection
Navigate to Integrations on the sidebar
Select the Connections tab
Click +New
Select Definitiv from the integration dropdown list
Enter Connection Name
Click Create
Enter the Definitiv instance URL and API key (provided by Definitiv)
Select an EBA from the dropdown
Click Save (this will automatically try to establish connection with the provided credentials)
Choose a Definitiv Organisation
Click Save
Click the Sync with Definitiv button (to import payroll data)
Mapping Traffio to Definitiv
Navigate to Integrations on the sidebar
Select the Connections tab
Click open an existing Definitiv connection
Select the desired tab (employees, roles, depots, pay items, site allowance rates)
Match the those listed on the left-hand side (from the Traffio system) with those on the right-hand side (e.g. Traffio person -> Definitiv employee)
Click Save
Starting the Integration for Payroll
To begin integrating your payroll with Definitiv, please follow the steps below:
Note: You can only proceed with this if your Traffio account has payroll access. If you do not have this access, please contact your manager, who can grant you access through the access levels.
Navigate to Payroll on the sidebar
Select the Payroll Cost Centre tab across the top
Either open an existing cost centre, or click +New to create another
Choose Definitiv from the Integration Dropdown
Choose your Connection
Choose a Definitiv Project (this is the equivalent to a Traffio Payroll Cost Centre)
Click Save
Pushing Pay Run to Definitiv
Navigate to Payroll on the sidebar
Select the Pay run tab
Click +New
Choose the Definitiv payroll cost centre.
Click Push to Definitiv button for the entire pay run.
Or choose a person to push individual payroll data.
