Often, work will require approved permits from government councils. Traffio's permit section offers a way to store and access your client-specific permits with ease.

You can also set permit validation dates, so that the system will know the status of the permit and let you know when they are close to expiry.

Setting up a permit issuer

To add permits into the system, you first must create the permit issuer. The permit issuer is the organisation that approves and issues the permit.

To Create a Permit Issuer

  1. Click into Permits on the sidebar

  2. Select Permit Issuer on the top toolbar.

  3. Click + New.

  4. Add the permit issuers details

  5. Create.

  8. Once you have created your permit, you can click and drag your permit file into the system.

Permits are Client specific. Meaning that a permit can only be used on bookings for the client that the permit is assigned.

Custom validity times:

You are able to specify custom validity times for permits based on the day-of-week. For example, a permit may be valid all day from Monday to Friday, but only between 12pm and 5pm on Saturdays and 10am and 2pm on Sundays etc.

Up to 2 validity time-frames can be set per day. E.g a permit may be valid on Mondays from start-of-day until 6am and again from 8pm until end-of-day.

The highlighted sections are mandatory to fill in before pressing create.
