If you have migrated from an older version of MYOB, the default username and password will be the originally username and password from the previous versions company file. You can check your MYOB setting so see what username currently exists in the system.

If you have created a company file using the current MYOB version, an Administrator is automatically created. The password will not be automatically assigned.

To set a password for the Administrator

As the company file Administrator, start AccountRight and open your company file.

Go to the Setup menu and select User Access.

Select the Administrator account.

(Online files only) If you've selected the option This user will sign on with a my.MYOB account, click the set an offline password link.

Type your new password in both the Password and Confirm Password fields.

Click Save.
