Item classifications allow you to group multiple resources into a singular scheduled or billable item.
For example, If you schedule and bill by crews. You can create a new resource which is a 1 x TC crew you can group a Ute and a Traffic controller together as one item.
Getting started
To create an item classification you must first ensure that you have Item Classification Access, this access allows you to create, update and delete Item Classifications. If not contact your management to activate this permission. Learn more about permissions here. Before creating bespoke item classifications, you must first also ensure that the resources that make up that item classification are in the system. Read more here
How to add an item classification
Select the Admin tab in the left-hand side toolbar
Select Item classifications
+New
Input Name, Description, Category and Billing code if applicable.
Enter the quantity number of each resource that is part of this item

Billing Codes
When creating item classifications you're able to add a bespoke billing code/item reference. This billing code will be added to the description of the generated invoice line item. When resourcing jobs you're also able to search item classifications by the billing code.
