Tasks can be assigned via the booking board, the task board or within the task instances and task tab of a booking. All these components are intended to work in collaboration with each other and it is recommended that you use the benefits of each feature of Traffio to assist you.
Booking board - filtering of skills, tickets, specialisations
Task board - See a persons or workforce workload and allocate efficiently making sure you don't miss any task instances within a time period.
Task instances and task tab - centralise the same people across a set of tasks within your business efficiently and effectively.
Tasks can be assigned through any of these ways.
Assigning Employees Through the Task Board
Navigate to the Task you want to assign a person to
Click on the Task Number
In the 'Assigned People' section click New+
Use the dropdown list to select the Person you want to assign
Click Create
The selected field worker will receive a push notification via the Mobile App
Assigning Tasks Through Resources Within Booking
Navigate to Bookings on the sidebar
Click the Task on the desired Booking
Select the desired Employee from the resources
Assigning Employees Through Tasks Tab Within Booking
Navigate to Bookings on the sidebar
Click Details on the desired booking
Select the Tasks tab
Select the desired Task
Click +New under Assigned People
Select desired Employee from dropdown
Click Create
Managing Employee Task Assignments
Once a person has been assigned a task you can view details of their assignment and manually accept, refuse or clear their availability.
Navigate to the desired Task
In the 'Assigned People' section you can use the buttons next each assigned field worker to directly action their availability
Alternatively you can click on the > arrow to open the full details of their assignment
