The task board is designed to provide a dedicated space for easily assigning tasks to individuals. It focuses on daily tasks and allows you to filter by day for improved organisation.

Key Features of the Task Board Left Field Worker List

Task Board Filters

Filter the field worker list to select the most suitable worker for the task

Date Range and Time Range

Allows you to assign tasks for a specific time period (Please note, fatigue is not included in this feature)

Task Tile

Displays the Task Number, Task Type, and time range, with the colour indicating the task's status

Details of the Task Tile

Displays the same information as the Task Tile, with the added details of location, Job Number, and the ability to view more task details. You can also change, confirm, refuse, or remove a field worker from a task instance

Functionality

Click and Drag Task Tiles

You can click and drag tasks with a "Confirmed" status to reassign the task to another employee

Click and Extend the Task Tile

You can click and drag the edges (indicated by arrows) to extend or shorten it. Note that you can extend the task beyond the original booking length and end time, but you cannot adjust it before the booking start time.

Task Board Instance Filters

Filter your task instances to make sure you cover all the tasks within the time period

Task Instance List

Contains the following:

  • Status

  • Job Number, Task Instance Number and Task Type - all can be clicked on to bring up the details

  • Date and time of instance

  • Location of the instance

  • Assigned and Confirmed indicator and drop down - Will show the people who have been allocated and who has confirmed for the tasks.

  • Multi-select tick box - Use this for the many functionality in terms of status changes (confirm, lock, finalise) or to make multiple non-billable.
