Site Story allows you to record video 'drive-throughs' of your job site to share with your client and for compliance.

Traffio integrates with Site Story by allowing you to easily access the drive-through videos (that we refer to as Stories or Booking Stories) of a particular job site within the Traffio interface, categorise them with tags and mark them as complete or reviewed.

Before you Begin

Before integrating Traffio with Site Story, you will require a Site Story account. Please visit Site Story to open an account.

How to Connect Traffio with Site Story

Once you have a Site Story account you will need to grant Site Story access to your Traffio data.

In the main menu of Traffio, navigate to Integrations > Third Parties and then click on the arrow next to the Site Story result.

From the slide out panel, click on Access Tokens and then click New. Enter a reason for issuing the token and click Create.

Once you have read the information in the popup window that appears, click Continue. This will send a request to Site Story that will allow them to access your Traffio data. The data they will have access to is:

  • Bookings: Site Story will be able to read your booking data. They will not be able to change or delete your booking data.

  • Booking Stories: Site Story will be able to create, read, update and delete 'booking story' records.

Site Story will communicate with you as to when they have connected to Traffio.

If you wish to stop Site Story from accessing your Traffio data, you can navigate to the Access Tokens screen again (Integrations > Third Parties > Click on Site Story > Access Tokens) and click the Revoke button for any active tokens.

How to use the Integration

Once Site Story has informed you that they have connected to your instance of Traffio, you will begin to see 'drive-through' video records in the Traffio interface.

You can access these stories by navigating to a particular booking and then clicking on the Stories tab where you will see Stories relating only to that booking.

Alternatively, you can navigate to the Bookings > Booking Stories screen to see a list of Stories relating to any booking.

How to Categorise your Stories

Each Story in Traffio can be assigned multiple tags - allowing you to, for example, group like Stories together and organise your records.

You can find these Stories later using the Tag filter in the filter bar.

Likewise, you can mark a Story as being completed or reviewed by toggling on the Closed option on each Story. Once a Story has been 'closed' it will not show up in the results screen unless you explicitly search for closed Stories using the filter bar.

In conjunction with tags, this functionality allows you to create powerful workflows for reviewing job sites and remaining compliant.
