With an active and connected Verizon Connect Fleet (formerly Telogis) integration, Traffio will sync Traffio people with matching or mapped drivers in the Verizon Connect Fleet system.
Heads up
Verizon have several products which require slightly different implementations to integrate. This guide is for the Verizon Connect Fleet (formerly Telogis) system.
If you're looking for other Verizon systems we integrate with, check here.
People Mapping
Automatic People Mapping
What is mapping?
Traffio needs to know which corresponding driver in Verizon Connect Fleet a Traffio person matches to. This process is called mapping, and maps one systems person to the other systems driver.
This ensures updates or assignments from one systems driver can be reflected on the other systems correct person entry.
Traffio will sync new and updated drivers from Verizon Connect Fleet every twelve hours. When a new driver is detected in Verizon Connect Fleet, Traffio will attempt to link a driver to a person in Traffio based on email address.
Manual Person/Driver Mapping
There is the ability to manually map/link drivers and people between the two systems from within the Traffio interface.
Navigate to Integrations on the sidebar
Select the applicable Verizon Connect Fleet connection to open its detail view
Select Person Mapping in the menu bar
For the applicable Traffio person you wish to map, select the Verizon Connect Fleet driver from the dropdown.
Driver Assignments
Traffio syncs drivers against vehicles based on applicable bookings within Traffio.
Traffio will create a new driver entry in Verizon Connect Fleet when the associated Person in Traffio is not mapped/linked with an existing driver in Verizon Connect Fleet.
Unique Nicknames for Verizon Connect Fleet
Each Driver in Verizon Connect Fleet is required to have a unique "Nickname". As Traffio does not sync nicknames between the two systems, Traffio will send the persons First Name, Last Name and the unique Traffio Driver ID as the Nickname.
Adding the Traffio ID to the end of drivers nick names will ensure each driver sent from Traffio to Verizon Connect Fleet is unique and avoid conflicts where two drivers may share the same name.
Drivers are assigned to vehicles in Verizon Connect Fleet 45 minutes before a booking start time when the following conditions are met:
The booking has a driver and vehicle assigned
The vehicle in Traffio is mapped to a vehicle in Verizon Connect Fleet
The person in Traffio is mapped to a driver in Verizon Connect Fleet
The booking status is one of
