With an active and connected Verizon Connect Fleet (formerly Telogis) integration, Traffio will sync Traffio Vehicles with matching or mapped vehicles in the Verizon Connect Fleet system.
Heads up
Verizon have several products which require slightly different implementations to integrate. This guide is for the Verizon Connect Fleet (formerly Telogis) system.
If you're looking for other Verizon systems we integrate with, check here.
Vehicle Mapping
Automatic Vehicle Mapping
What is mapping?
Traffio needs to know which corresponding vehicle in Verizon Connect Fleet a Traffio vehicle matches to. This process is called mapping, and maps one systems vehicle to the other systems vehicle.
This ensures updates or assignments from one systems vehicle can be reflected on the other systems correct vehicle entry.
Traffio will sync new and updated vehicles from Verizon Connect Fleet every twelve hours. When a new vehicle is detected in Verizon Connect Fleet, the vehicle will be automatically mapped based on the following rules:
If the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in Verizon Connect Fleet matches a Traffio vehicle with the same VIN, the vehicles will be mapped/linked
βIf the Verizon Connect Fleet Vehicle has a Penske number which matches a Traffio Vehicle's Engine Number, the vehicles will be mapped
To ensure your vehicles are automatically mapped as new vehicles are added to either system, we suggest ensuring your Vehicle entries are populated with the correct VIN in both systems.
Manual Vehicle Mapping
We recommend mapping vehicles on VIN where possible. There is the ability to manually map/link vehicles between the two systems from within the Traffio interface.

Select the applicable Verizon Connect Fleet connection to open its detail view
Press the blue Verizon Connect Fleet (Telogis) Options button to open the configuration options for this integration
Ensure the toggle for Vehicle Odometer Syncing is green and switched on
