When Traffio experiences a database issue, most commonly during planned database maintenance, it automatically switches to Read Only mode. This allows the platform to remain accessible, enabling users to continue viewing information even though changes cannot be made. Rather than going offline completely, Traffio remains available in a limited capacity until normal operation is restored.
Check our status page at www.traffio.com.au/traffiostatus for updates on maintenance progress and service availability.
What Still Works
While Traffio is in Read Only mode, you can still:
Log in as normal
View and search bookings, shifts, schedules, reports, contacts, and other records
Navigate the platform freely
Access information across the system without interruption
What's Temporarily Unavailable
While Traffio is in Read Only mode:
Creating, editing, saving, and deleting records is temporarily disabled
Any changes attempted during this time will not be saved
Users can continue to view information, but cannot make updates until normal service is restored
Mobile App
Dockets and forms are safely queued on your device and will be sent once normal service resumes.
The mobile app will automatically retry sending queued items when it has an internet connection, is open in the foreground, and the user is logged in.
During this period, you may see the message:
"You seem to have a bad network connection. We'll retry automatically when the network is restored."
No action is required, queued submissions will be retried automatically.
What Users Should Do
Continue using Traffio to view and look up information as needed
Wait until the Read Only banner is removed before making any changes
Normal editing and update functionality will be restored automatically once maintenance is complete
