What is weekly client sign off?
Weekly client sign off for ongoing bookings allows clients to sign off on a week's worth of daily dockets in one go.
When enabled, mobile users still submit daily dockets for each individual shift—the key difference is that the client only signs off once at the end of the week*, rather than every day.

Your week-end is based on the configuration setting Ongoing weekly dockets calendar first day of week. You can set your start day to Sunday, Monday, or whichever day fits your business cycle.
💡 Tip: If you primarily use weekly sign-offs, enable the config setting Default for weekly docket on new ongoing bookings. This automatically turns the toggle on for new ongoing bookings so you don't have to remember every time.
After you have created an ongoing booking, you are unable to edit the weekly client sign off toggle.
How are weekly dockets created?
Mobile staff will submit daily dockets as usual, but the app won't prompt for a client signature until the final shift of the week.
Mid-week submissions: The mobile app skips the signature step.

Last day of the week: The app prompts the user to collect the weekly client signature.

If a client isn't available to sign on-site, office staff can send a remote client sign-off request directly from the web app.

Managing weekly dockets
Checking daily docket creation
Head to the Booking Archive tab under the Bookings menu. Look at the Office signed off or Client signed off columns. A clock symbol indicates that no dockets have been created yet.
Checking if client has signed off weekly dockets
Use the Ongoing Booking Calendar to see when sign-offs are due or completed. The final booking of each week displays a status icon:
Star = Future client sign off date
Tick = Client has signed off
Exclamation mark = Client sign off is due

FAQ
What if my week starts on Monday, but bookings only run Monday to Friday?
What if my week starts on Monday, but bookings only run Monday to Friday?
The system checks for the last scheduled booking within the 7-day period (e.g., Monday through Sunday). If your last shift of the week is Friday, the app recognizes Friday as the final day and prompts for signature then.
What happens if the last day of the week gets cancelled?
What happens if the last day of the week gets cancelled?
Example scenarios below are based on a Monday to Sunday week with a booking every day.
Cancelled in advance: If Sunday is cancelled before Saturday's shift, Saturday becomes the new final day and the mobile app will automatically request the client signature.
Cancelled during the previous shift: If Sunday is cancelled while Saturday's shift is underway, the system recalculates Saturday as the final day. As long as the field worker's app syncs via mobile internet, it will update to prompt for the weekly sign-off on Saturday.
Cancelled after the previous shift: If Sunday is cancelled after Saturday's shift has wrapped up, the system still marks Saturday as the final booking. Since workers are no longer on-site, office staff can send a remote sign-off request from the web app instead.

What if there are multiple dockets for the same booking?
What if there are multiple dockets for the same booking?
When a worker has multiple daily dockets on the same booking, the weekly docket displays their overall shift range—taking the earliest start time and the latest finish time—and counts any gap between shifts as break time.
Each individual daily docket remains separate and will be marked as client signed off.
