There are several configurations you can adjust to tailor the system to meet your business needs. These settings will affect how new bookings are created and managed.
To have access to changing configurations, you will need administrator access. You can learn more about roles, access levels and permissions here.
Booking person goes straight to site (STS) by default
If yes, every person added to a booking will default to Straight to Site (STS). A STS person will be given the booking start time as a meeting time and be told to meet on site.
If no, they will be given the depot meeting time and told to meet at the depot first.
Booking requires client order numbers
Determines whether a booking requires a mandatory client order number.
If enabled (Yes), a purchase order or client job number must be entered when creating a booking.
If disabled (No), the purchase order or client job number field will remain optional.
Bookings require site contact
Determines whether a site contact is required when creating a booking.
If enabled (Yes), a booking cannot be saved until at least one site contact has been provided.
If disabled (No), a booking can be saved without a site contact.
Calendar first day of week
Sets which day the calendar week starts on (Sunday, Monday, Saturday).
Default job length
Specifies the default job duration.
For example, if 8 is selected, the approximate end time will automatically be set to 8 hours after the start time.
Depot meeting time offset
This setting determines how much earlier the depot meeting time is scheduled than the booking start time. When a booking start time is set, the system automatically calculates the depot and site meeting times using the configured offset.
Guess roving site address
Automatically estimates the street address of a roving site entered in the mobile app by reverse geocoding its GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude).
Lock dockets after client signed
Determines whether a docket is automatically locked after it has been signed off by the client.
permit_validity_window_minutes
Determines how many minutes a booking can start before or after the selected permit time.
Specify default depot meeting time
If enabled (yes), a depot meeting time will be automatically calculated, and a booking may not be saved unless a depot meeting time is specified. Depot meeting times are used if the individual is being sent to the depot first, rather than straight to the site.
If disabled (no), then no depot time is calculated, and a depot meeting time does not have to be declared.
