How to use tasks in the mobile app

This article is overview of the task function for mobile app field workers.


Receiving and managing Task assignments:

Once your employer has assigned you a Task you will receive an email and push notification via the Mobile App, similar to receiving a booking request.

​Note: Please ensure Push Notification permissions are enabled for your device

  1. Open the Traffio Mobile App by directly tapping on the Push Notification or accessing the Task assignment via the main Jobs page

  2. Review details of the Task Assignment

  3. Select if you will Accept or Decline the Task assignment


Task Assignment Statuses:

Once a Task assignment has been accepted you will be able to see a status bar at the top of the Task overview page.

The three statuses field workers can see are:

Active - The Task is ready to be completed

Completed - The Task has been marked as complete and can no longer be edited by field workers

Cancelled - The Task has been cancelled


Actioning a Task Assignment:

  1. Tap on the Task on the main Jobs page

  2. If a hire booking template was used you will be asked to confirm

    1. Equipment registration number

    2. Confirm/Add any listed items

  3. Enter the Start time for the Task assignment

  4. Complete all mandatory Task specific forms

  5. Enter the Finish time for the Task assignment

  6. Enter your signature and collect the Client signature (This may only appear if the task was marked as requiring signatures)

  7. Tap Submit
