Setting an employees availability

This article goes through how to set an employees availability so that they're not mistakingly scheduled when unavailable

Due to the casual nature of workers in Traffio, some of your employees may have limited availability that they are able to work due to multiple reasons. The Leave section within People allows you to put in that unavailability to avoid accidentally scheduling them at those times. This unavailability can be set for any length of time.

Getting Started

To be able to input an employee's unavailability, you must first have the "Leave approval access" permission turned on. If you'd like to create a specific leave type for unavailability this can be done within Admin > Leave Types. Read more here

How to enter an employees unavailability

  1. Navigate to People on the side tab bar

  2. Select Leave on the top tab bar

  3. Click +New

  4. Select the Employee from the drop-down menu

  5. Select the Leave Type. Recommended that a Not visible to workers leave type is users so the unavailability isn't shown as leave on the worker's app.

  6. Pick the date from and date to. There isn't a limit to how long you can set this too.

  7. Tick the Limit unavailability to specific shifts

  8. Tick the boxes of the shifts they will not be able to work

  9. Create
