In Traffio, allowances are calculated separately from the employee's hourly salary rates and are considered an additional value.
On the EBA detail page, scroll down to the 'Rates & Allowances Display Columns' table.
When you enable the "First Aid Allowance" toggle, an additional settings block will appear at the bottom.
Apply First Aid Allowance on a Booking
The first aid allowance is provided to individuals designated as a first-aider in the booking. Only one person can be assigned as the first-aider for each booking. To assign someone, click the 'first aid' button on the booking tile, as shown in the image below.
Apply First Aid Allowance for Qualified People
When enabled, the first aid allowance is provided to individuals who have a skill that qualifies them to administer first aid. To verify if the assigned skill is correct, refer to this article.
When disabled, the first aid allowance is granted to individuals marked as a first-aider, regardless of their qualifications.

Apply First Aid Allowance for Selected Clients
When enabled, the first aid allowance is given to individuals working on bookings for any of the clients listed. If needed, you can select multiple clients from the list.
Note: If both the client and specialisation toggles are enabled, the allowance is given to individuals who meet either condition, meaning they don’t need to meet both.
Apply First Aid Allowance for Selected Specialisations
When enabled, the first aid allowance is provided to individuals with a specialisation listed. If needed, you can select multiple specialisations from the list.
Note: If both the client and specialisation toggles are enabled, the allowance is given to individuals who meet either condition, meaning they do not need to meet both.
