Allowances in Traffio are calculated separately from the employee's salary hour rates. It's an additional value.

First aid allowance is given to people who are marked as a first-aider on the booking.

You can only assign one person as a first-aider in a booking. To do so, select the 'first aid' button from the booking tile as shown in the image below.

When enabled, first aid allowance is given to people who have a skill that qualifies them to deliver first aid. To check if the skill assigned to the person is correct, review the 'Create a First Aid skill' steps.

When disabled, first aid allowance is given to people marked as a first-aider, regardless of whether they are qualified or not.

When enabled, first aid allowance is given to people working on bookings from any of the clients that appear in the list.

If required, the list allows you to select multiple clients.

Note: If both the client and specialisation toggles are enabled, the allowance is given to people who have met either condition. ie. they do not need to meet both conditions.

If you see a 'Cannot administer first aid' banner underneath the person in the booking tile then the person does not have a first aid skill attached to their profile.
