A person's shift is split into different payable hours.
Each payable hour can be linked to a different pay rate ($) in your external payroll software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, etc).
This allows you to pay different rates for the one shift.
For example, for one shift you can pay a first rate for the 'Flat Rate Ordinary' hours and then a second rate for the 'Flat Rate Allocated Travel' hours.
Payable Hours
Flat Rate Ordinary
Flat Rate Allocated Travel Hours
Flat Rate Overtime
Allocated Travel Hours and Allocated Travel Time
If the 'Allocated travel time' is greater than zero...
hours are placed in the 'Flat Rate Allocated Travel' payable hours for the first hours in 'Allocated travel time',
then any hours after that will be placed in the 'Flat Rate Ordinary' payable hours.
e.g. if the allocated travel limit is 2, then an 8 hour shift will have 2 hours of 'Flat Rate Allocated Travel' and 6 hours of 'Flat Rate Ordinary'.
Flat Rate Overtime
Flat Rate Overtime hours are only used when the "Limit 'Ordinary' hours per pay period" toggle is enabled.
When enabled, 'Ordinary' hours will be limited to the "Max 'Ordinary' hours". Once the limit is reached, 'Flat Rate Overtime' hours will be used.
Eg: there may be a limit of 38 'Ordinary' hours in the week which could mean that by Friday you may have run out of 'Ordinary' hours, and will receive 'Overtime' instead.
Linking 'Payable Hours' to your pay rates ($) in your external payroll software
You can link your own pay rates ($) to these Traffio 'Payable Hours' per 'Payroll Category' in the 'Earnings rates' tab in the Payroll Cost Centre.

In the screenshot example, we have the 'Payroll Categories' "Traffic Controller A.1" and "Traffic Controller A.2".
As you can see, the list of 'Payable Hours' are repeated for each 'Payroll Category'.
