Use minimum hours p/shift

When enabled, all shifts will be at least the 'minimum hours' set.

If a shift is less than the 'minimum hours' set, then hours will be added to the end of the shift so it reaches the minimum hours.

This setting takes precedence over the default four-hour minimum for 'late cancellation' bookings.

Exception: If the end time has been manually overridden, the minimum hours will not take effect and will remain with the overridden end time.

Limit 'Ordinary' hours per pay period (week/fortnight)

Formerly known as "Max ordinary hours".

If enabled, 'Ordinary' hours will be limited to the number set in "Maximum 'Ordinary' hours p/pay period". Once the limit is reached, the 'Overtime' hours will be used.

Ordinary hours refer to the payable hours:

'Day Ordinary', 'Night Ordinary', 'Saturday Ordinary', and 'Sunday Ordinary'.

Overtime hours refer to the payable hours:

'Day Overtime' and 'Day Extra Overtime'

OR

'Night Overtime' and 'Night Extra Overtime'.

These overtime hours will use the standard hourly limit set, as per below image.

If 'Use Saturday Ordinary hours' is enabled, then Saturday overtime hourly limit will use the hours set in the 'Saturday 'Day Overtime' hrs limit override'.

โœ๏ธ Reminder

Saturday overtime hours go into 'Day Overtime' and then 'Day Extra Overtime'.

Sunday overtime hours go straight into 'Day Extra Overtime'.

No night payable hours are used.

Eg: there may be a limit of 38 'Ordinary' hours in the week which could mean that by Friday you may have run out of 'Ordinary' hours, and will receive 'Overtime' instead.

Extra Overtime hours on Friday evenings

If enabled, the hours after 'Night start' on Friday will be at the 'Extra Overtime' payable hours.

'Extra Overtime' payable hours explained...

If the payroll shift type is

  • 'Day shift' then it will use the 'Day Extra Overtime' payable hour

  • 'Night shift' then it will use the 'Night Extra Overtime' payable hour

  • 'Weekday shift' then it will use the 'Night Extra Overtime' payable hour

Don't deduct break on weekend/public holiday

If enabled, then the employees will be paid during break time on public holidays and weekends.

Re-allocate Night Extra Overtime payable hours in Day timeframe

Formerly known as "Second night rate is ordinary time".

Only applicable when a 'Night' shift is used.

E.g. if the 'Weekend' shift is enabled/used this setting will not be applied.

If the Night Extra Overtime payable hours are in the Day timeframe, it will allocate the Day timeframe hours into the Night Overtime payable hours.
